Internet buzzing about Google’s privacy blunder with "Buzz"

Well here we go again with Google and its “Buzz” with what I have been reading all around the internet it looks like that Google #failed again with a rollout of a product not ready for mainstreaming on the internet.

I tried Google Buzz and it looks ok, simple, clean and neat it can do some things that Facebook and Twitter cannot do, but alas its not what us as end users want. We wanted something to merge all social networking sites into one place. I think everyone is getting tired of having several different application like Tweetdeck or hootsuite who only post to  certain places on the net. With Tweetdeck right now its the only that lets you post to most end users favorite social networking sites for instance on mine I like to update Facebook, MySpace and my other Twitter account. I am sure that other users would like to have other social networking sites updated too.

Back to Google Buzz, well after reading many articles of how Google Buzz is going to buzz to the top that certainly did not happen, Many bloggers and news sources have said that Google Buzz should have been tested thoroughly before being released to the world. I went back to change some settings to make sure that I only get invitations to the people I want and make sure I don’t get uninvited guest.

When I was in college I wrote article after article for assignments how cloud computing is not the best choice to store your documents or anything private since Google still does not understand how to keep things private yet. Again Google failed to realize how important people want their private lives to be kept safe and not for everyone to see in a search results. I think this is another lesson that Google will have to learn that one day they will figure out what many people want.

Google Buzz can be a good thing for people that always use the Gmail service, but for someone like me that does not use the Gmail Service online it can be a nightmare. I use my Google Gmail in my Microsoft Outlook and have my mail forwarded to Office so I can see what I am getting. I hope that many users can find their way through the settings for changing it back to the way you had it or I bet some users might be deleting their accounts as we speak here, I know for one thing that Google better wake up and learn from this mistake and as always Google fell way behind in the social networking game.
