Multiple slaying victims found in house in Miramar
MIRAMAR – A horrific discovery was made Monday afternoon by Miramar police, responding to a reported shooting on Encino Street.
There were several people found dead in a house in the 9500 block of Encino Street, police said.
Police were called to the scene by a friend of the only surviving victim, a female whose name and age were not released today. The victim told her friend that she had been shot in the face, said Tania Rues, Miramar police spokeswoman. The friend, also not identified by police, called for help.
Police at first did not have an exact address of the crime so they had to canvass the neighborhood seeking the victims.
The surviving victim was found in her doorway in critical condition and taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
