Illinois Senate removes Gov Blagojevich from office: reports
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — The Illinois Senate voted unanimously to convict Gov. Rod Blagojevich and remove him from office, according to media reports. The move allows Lt. Gov. Patrick Quinn to become governor of Illinois. The senate also voted to bar Blagojevich from holding any state office in the future. ![]()
